Odney account executive Grady Blewett is a sports nut. Whether he is playing golf, assistant-coaching inside linebackers at Mandan High School, or getting under a fly ball to left field, he loves it. He knows it takes practice to hone the skills, and it requires strategy to win.
Not wanting to fumble such a perfect sports metaphor, we can’t help but point out how that fits with our way of doing business. With a background that has included a variety of the skills and positions in our field — graphic design, photography, and media planning for digital and social media placement — Grady is now focused on the game strategy for Odney clients.
Having joined Odney as part of our acquisition of fellow agency, KK Bold, Grady brings both a strong sense for marketing strategy and a winning personality. He enjoys interacting with clients and coworkers, learning the strengths of each team member, and working toward a common goal. He particularly likes it when those interactions involve golf outings — and would also be open to pickleball.
Grady is a graduate of the Gary Tharaldson School of Business at University of Mary in Bismarck, where he played Marauders football and earned a degree in Business Communications and a minor in Public Relations. In his role at Odney, he is inspired by seeing clients happy with the service they receive and the strategic plans our company provides. He does a great job for his clients, and we think he is just getting warmed up.
Joining Odney wasn’t the only big change in his life lately. He and his wife, McKayla, were newly married in late September. She is also an athlete and sports fan, so they enjoy activities together like playing in a kickball league or traveling to see the Minnesota Vikings and North Dakota State University Bison football teams.
