BISMARCK, N.D. — Odney, a leading advertising and public relations agency in North Dakota, announces a strategic business decision to shape our future. Effective January 1, we underwent an organizational shift, with the public affairs division being split into a separate entity.
Under the new structure, Odney will focus exclusively on advertising and public relations and will be led by Kyle Niess as CEO and Gwen Butler as President. The newly formed separate company, Dakota Strategies, will be led by Don Larson and Shane Goettle and will specialize in public affairs and strategic planning. This decision allows both entities to concentrate on their core businesses and better serve their respective clients.
The day-to-day operations of Odney will stay the same. The agency will continue to deliver exceptional advertising and public relations solutions, building on the strong foundation established nearly 40 years ago.
"We believe this strategic move will position both entities for continued success by providing even more focused and tailored services to our clients," said Gwen Butler, President of Odney.
“We are thankful for the tremendous leadership and partnership from Don and Shane during their time at Odney. They have worked with us to ensure a seamless transition and we are excited to see them continue to use their experience and talents through Dakota Strategies,” said Odney CEO Kyle Niess.
Odney's commitment to creating strategy that matters and communication that moves is unwavering. We look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead, and we are confident that this organizational shift will further enhance our ability to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
