In the creative world of graphic design, there is no such thing as a fixed state of being. Nothing and no one is stationary and that suits Graphic Designer Mariah Braun just fine.

Braun has been designing projects big and small for Odney clients for many years. When asked to share her most important skill or qualification she wastes no time in responding “I love looking for new trends and design styles. Staying on top of what’s fresh and new keeps my work on the cutting edge.” She also enjoys the variety of projects and clients she gets to work with at Odney. 

Another way designing stays fresh for Braun is in terms of technology. She says, “The creative software is always changing. New technology such as AI is a huge game changer and only going to get better. Right now I’m using it to edit and manipulate photos in ways not possible five years ago. It’s a huge time saver and also gives us unlimited editing options with photos that might not have been usable before AI.”  

Braun’s personal life is no slower. She's married with three boys and a baby girl on the way! “When I’m not at work I’m chasing three boys around or running kids to practice or games.” Her family enjoys camping at many of North Dakota’s state parks in the summer, and we can imagine there is not much rest happening on those trips either. 

Wondering what dream trip fuels a creative brain? For Braun, it’s Greece and Italy! She says “I love the history and culture, but also the photos I’ve seen are stunning. I’m a huge fan of I Love Lucy and I’ve wanted to go to Italy ever since Lucy explored it in one of the episodes.” There’s no doubt she will make that trip happen one day. No moss will be growing on Mariah Braun anytime soon.
