Odney Named 2026 SABRE Award Finalist for “Find the Good Life” Campaign

The “Find the Good Life” campaign, developed by Odney in partnership with the North Dakota Department of Commerce, has been named a finalist for a 2026 SABRE Award, one of the public relation industry’s top honors.
The campaign takes a different approach to workforce recruitment. Instead of leading with jobs, it starts with experience by inviting people to visit North Dakota and see what life here is really like.
That idea is grounded in a simple truth: people can’t imagine living somewhere they’ve never visited. By connecting tourism and talent attraction, the campaign creates a natural path from visitor to resident.
“Being named a SABRE Award finalist is an honor and a reflection of the strong partnership we have with the North Dakota Department of Commerce,” said Gwen Butler, president of Odney. “Together, we’ve taken a unique approach to workforce recruitment by showing people what life in North Dakota truly looks like and why it’s a great place to build a future.”
The strategy highlights North Dakota’s strong communities, meaningful career opportunities and a quality of life that stands out from larger, more crowded markets.
Since launching, the campaign has generated more than 6,000 workforce leads and over $5 million in direct economic impact, while building a long-term pipeline of people interested in living and working in North Dakota.
We’re proud to partner with the North Dakota Department of Commerce on this work and excited to see the campaign recognized at a national level.
