Job Overview
Are you an experienced project manager with 3+ years of experience who thrives on scheduling and organization in a fast-paced environment? Do you get the warm and fuzzies building project plans and coordinating large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and milestones? Do you struggle to decide if you like Kanban boards or Gannt charts better? Do you want to work in a fun office with cool people and interesting projects? We're looking for a Marketing Project Manager to work with our V.P. of Creative Strategy, creative team and account executives to manage all agency projects from start to finish. You’ll use our internal project management software to assign projects based on workload and track them through to ensure they’re completed on time and on budget. This position must work in our Bismarck, ND, office. (We have free snacks! And not lame snacks—we’re talking the really good name-brand snacks.)
Responsibilities
- Work with V.P. of Creative Strategy to assign and support projects to meet timeline
- Participate in weekly status meetings with account staff and creative team members to discuss current and incoming projects and timelines
- Coordinate with a wide range of media vendors for distribution and production of products such as print, tv/radio, digital, out-of-home, photo shoots, etc.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure all deadlines are met
- Track projects from start to finish throughout the agency
- Use project management software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Advertising or marketing agency experience is a plus
