Connecting with your audience just got easier

As social media professionals we are always looking for ways to make our content creation easier. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be leveraged in our favor, helping to generate quality content more efficiently, automate post scheduling and optimize social campaigns.  

There are many AI productivity tools, and it is important to choose the right ones for you, learn when to use them, and navigate those tools to set yourself up for success. 

If you consistently struggle with brainstorming post ideas or just need a spark of inspiration, this is a prime time to take advantage of AI. Asking questions as simple as “Create a list of social media content ideas for a small-town, locally owned boutique in Bismarck, North Dakota” or “Provide me with a list of questions consumers ask about funeral homes” can be a great way to get started when you are stumped.  

Maybe you find yourself feeling like you need to reinvent the wheel month after month. Programs like ChatGPT, Gemini, or AI tools within your social media posting platform can help you write engaging captions, create fresh graphics, or repurpose content that has performed well in the past.   

The important thing to keep in mind when using AI is - the ultimate goal is to create valuable content and create/maintain a connection with your audience. It can be tempting to simply post whatever ChatGPT comes up with but don’t forget you understand your target audience better than any AI platform ever could. You know who they are and what they are looking for. You know their pain points and how you can solve them. You know your brand voice like it’s your own. Creating meaningful, intentionally thought-out content will strike a chord with your audience more than anything a bot could throw your way.
