Job Overview

Odney is seeking a professional to assist the senior account management team in the development and execution of highly effective marketing, public relations, and advertising strategies. This person will work with a team of research, creative, digital, media, social media and public relations experts in a results-driven environment. The position will be based in our Minot office and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.   • Become knowledgeable with assigned clients
  • Gather input and information from clients and assist in the execution of communications, advertising, and marketing projects
  • Write and proof communications for key public information and public relations projects
  • Develop creative briefs to guide development of the assigned projects
  • Create, execute, and monitor social media campaigns
  • Participate in planning and strategy development with department team members
  • Assist in preparing and presenting communication/marketing plans and creative to clients
  • Serve as a conduit between team members and the client
  • Handle day-to-day activities for assigned clients
  • Work closely with senior account executives to oversee execution of approved program elements
  • Represent the agency at industry functions


  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines
  • Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and managing time efficiently
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience with paid and organic social media
  • Communications, advertising, public relations degree, or other appropriate experience
