BISMARCK, ND – Odney, a full-service advertising and communications agency, announces CEO/President Patrick Finken and Corporate Creative Director Mike Bruner are stepping down to make way for a new generation of leadership and ownership to guide the Odney team.
The new partners and management are all familiar Odney faces who have already served Odney clients well. Kyle Niess, Gwen Butler and Brekka Kramer will join Shane Goettle and Don Larson as Odney stockholders. Shane will now serve as CEO, Don will now serve as President/Managing Partner, Kyle, Gwen and Brekka will all now serve as Vice Presidents.
“I’ve been so thankful for the incredibly talented team I’ve been surrounded by for the past twenty-nine years,” said Pat Finken. “I know this new management team well, and I’m confident Odney will continue to produce smart, research-based advertising and communications strategies that yield the results our clients deserve from their investment.”
“We’ve been in a two-year process of transitioning our management team and new ownership to what you see today,” explains Shane Goettle. “We are very excited for the future and thankful that Kyle, Gwen and Brekka are joining Don and me as partners.”
“We aren’t letting Mr. Finken or Mr. Bruner relax in retirement,” explains Don Larson. “Pat has agreed to serve in a full-time advisory role to clients, staff and management, and Mike will continue to create award-winning advertising and design for the company over the next couple years.”
The new ownership and management changes were effective March 1.
