Job Overview

We are looking for an effective communications professional to join our team of strategic engagement specialists who shape our clients’ public relations and social media strategies. The successful candidate must have firm roots in public relations including reciprocal media and consumer outreach, as well as paid social media planning, execution, and evaluation. They will do this alongside social, digital, and traditional media experts in a deadline and results-driven environment. Position can be based in our Bismarck, ND office or remote.



  • Regularly engage and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal team members to define and achieve desired goals.  
  • Devise innovative strategic public relations and social media plans for clients based on identified goals. 
  • Continually evaluate and implement improvements to public relations and social media strategies.  
  • Create integrated and cost-effective social media campaigns on multiple platforms. 
  • Optimize paid social media campaigns for maximum impact across channels. 
  • Analyze and report on public relations efforts and social media campaigns to measure progress to goals.  
  • Holistically stay entrenched in customer and user data to analyze needs, opportunities, and progress to goals.  
  • Maintain professional relationships with local, regional, and national media contacts.  
  • Publicly represent clients as needed.  
  • Research and stay up to date on the latest social media and public relations tools. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing or equivalent  
  • Firm grasp of emerging social media and public relations tools and technology 
  • Media relations experience and eagerness to build relationships with local and national media outlets 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Proven problem-solving ability 
  • Thorough understanding of the social platforms, audience segments and attribution models 
  • Insightful and perceptive with broad knowledge of business 
  • Deadline and results-driven in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to quickly pivot and change strategies as needed 
  • Knowledge of social media and public relations best practices 
  • Must have a drive to continually learn and be a self-starter 
  • Excel in a collaborative environment where the most important goal is the client’s.
